About
Artist Statement
My work is deeply tied to my subconscious, exploring the connection between memory, emotion, and my intuition — much like the way nature organically flows. My paintings are meant to pull viewers inward, inviting reflection and a sense of connection and calm to something unseen, but felt.
Nature is a constant source of my inspiration — how light filters through leaves, the way water ripples, the quiet resilience of tree roots beneath the surface. These rhythms mirror the way I paint. As a Korean-American artist, my cultural background is woven into my work, shaping my identity, transformation, and personal history. I hope my art encourages others to pause, reflect, and connect with themselves, with their own stories, and with the natural world around them.
