Blog thoughts 2: transitions

I have been delaying working on my second blog thoughts for weeks now. It just feels raw and intimate to share what I write to the world not knowing how it’s going to be received. Doing it anyways.

I’m currently going through another transition. I’ve had many pivotal, transitional moments in my life that has helped me redirect and refocus on who I am and who I want to be.

I am a couple of weeks out from completing my last class in my Data Analytics professional certificate. I’m so excited to put these new skills into practice and into reality as an analyst. The love I have for spreadsheets, numbers (math was my fave growing up), and programming languages is different from the love I have for art, and I feel privileged to be able to pursue both.

I am currently reducing the hours of my virtual Pilates business and preparing for this new chapter ahead. I’ll still be teaching but will be letting go of the business. I am grateful I was able to do this for 3.5 years.

This transition is pivotal, and one that will support me with my goals and aspirations — being a full-time artist, owning my own studio and art gallery and being able to sell my work around the world. I would love to travel to exhibit in different countries and get lost in their culture and art…

I’m going to wrap this up. If you’re still here, thank you, I appreciate you.

I know this space will evolve and slowly feel less awkward with practice and time. 🙂

If you’re in the middle of a transition or would like to share your thoughts with me, please do!

🫰🏼,

Jenny
